I was very anxious to write about this place because it is such a wonderful and relaxing oasis in the suburbial dessert of city life that we reside in :D
The Connection
It's called Yon (Korean), Lian (Chinese), aka the Connection. :)
The owners, I believe, are 3 brothers and sister who run this fine establishment :)
The Atmosphere: Relaxing, Exotic und Romantic :D
The place is on the second and third floor of a building in Jongno. A step into the Oasis requires us to remove our shoes. Dimming light illuminate the room but it's not too dark that you can't really see where you're stepping.
There are no seats, only soft and comfy sets of padding and pillows. The tables and where you are seated are large enough for 6 people so there are plenty of leg space really ~ =]
Out the window you can enjoy the Nightview and city lights. It feels like you are watching those busy bees from the Windowpanes of your Sanctuary. You know what I mean?
Why come here?
There are a few reasons why you might want to come here.
I think the number one reason: a place to date. While the tables are not separated by huge bulging walls, the dark and dim lighting gives a lot of privacy :D
It's a very very social place, mostly because there aren't very many distractions around (ie. Televisions, Games, Noise etc.) and so the only thing you do is drink, talk and enjoy the fine Shisha if you wish :D
Shisha
For Those who don't know what Shishas are, it's a way of enjoying Tobacco with a subtle hint of flavouring (ie. Fruit etc.)
The Koreans call it 후까,후카(hooka) or 물담배.
It's a Turkish custom I think, just Google it if you wanna know the history :D
While it's probably still a bit bad for your health, it's not as strong as Smoking.
Usually, smoke that comes from cigarettes makes me cough, but this doesn't.
I really recommend for you to try it :D
At least one puff :) ~~~
Like I mentioned above, Shisha is provided here for a very reasonable price. Now, I haven't had many Shisha in my lifetime but I think this one's pretty decent :P
Price
3 Drinks + Shisha = 44,000 KRW (AUD $40)
Reasonable? Worth it? That's for you to decide :)

So what I got from this blog is that this is a good place for a first date because a. you are practically in the dark, so your dates doesn't really have to look at you and b. you have to take your shoes off making an easy get away harder... this is a perfect place for you ;p
